Antique Bhutanese koma, circa 1880, in sterling silver with an intricate gold-wash finish. The circular form measures 2.25 inches in diameter and features elaborate hand-chased and carved repoussé work throughout — dense scrolling florals and swags radiating from a central bezel-set turquoise stone cabochon. Eight decorative projecting bosses ring the outer border, each tipped with a small bead finial. The piece is dual-function: fitted with both a suspension loop for wear as a pendant and a pin fitting on the reverse for use as a brooch. The side profile shows the domed, openwork construction and the pin mechanism clearly. Unmarked; tested for sterling silver. Weight: 37 g. Age-appropriate patina and wear consistent with 19th-century Himalayan craftsmanship.
