Antique solid sterling silver souvenir spoon by Joseph Mayer & Brothers, Seattle. The handle features a highly detailed relief portrait of George Washington at the finial, surrounded by ornate scrollwork, with a scenic vignette — appearing to depict a landmark building or monument — worked into the mid-handle. The shank carries additional fine decorative relief motifs throughout. The bowl is plain and polished, showing light age-appropriate wear and minor surface marks consistent with antique use. Marked on the reverse with the maker's mark and STERLING. Measures 5.35 inches in length and weighs 19 grams. A fine example of late Victorian / Edwardian-era American souvenir silversmithing.
