Reed & Barton Francis I pattern sterling silver teaspoon. The handle features the pattern's signature deeply chased and repoussé Renaissance-style motifs — scrolling acanthus leaves, a large open rose blossom, and a fruit-and-foliage finial at the terminal — with oxidized recesses that highlight the high-relief detail. The oval bowl is polished silver-tone. Marked Sterling and Reed & Barton on the reverse. Measures 5.8 inches in length. Good condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use.
